Theme: Join us in a tropical paradise...where the palm trees sway!
This is a two-day sugar art competition with divisions for every skill level including Youth, Teen/Vocational, Adult Beginner, all the way up through Masters.
Categories include an occasion cake, novelty cake, and tiered cake. Special categories include decorated cookies, cupcakes, confections, and showpiece, just to name a few. And of course, the Tropical theme category. Other categories do not need to use a tropical design.
We have traditional tasting categories as well as our special tasting category this year, "Anything Tropical". Examples are pineapple, coconut, mango, guava, etc.
A popular feature of the show is our Live Challenge! Several competitors are given the same supplies and have one hour to decorate a cake in the show theme.
Competitors who submit and pay entry fees before the early entry deadline will receive a valuable goody bag. Division winners receive medals and prizes.
You can participate in classes and watch demonstrations. Vendors will be on hand to showcase cake and sugar arts related products.
