Northam Bilya Festival 2025

Kick off the Avon Descent weekend with a full-blown carnival right in the heart of town. We’re talking free rides, live music, roaming performers, food trucks, market stalls, and a fireworks finale that’ll light up the Avon River.

🎉 What’s Happening?

The Street Parade rolls out at 6PM along Fitzgerald Street packed with colour, culture, and community spirit.
Catch the Minijets on the river from 4PM.
Head to Bernard Park Soundshell for live music from Free Radicals, and later, The Feel Alrights.
Gather at the Bilya Koort Boodja Garden firepit for a Smoking Ceremony and Cultural Dance performance to honour the land, the river, and the Ballardong Nyoongar people.
And yes fireworks at 8:40PM!
