As part of Mental Health Month, the Shire of Northam invites you to a special community screening of the powerful Australian film Just A Farmer.

This year’s theme is “Let’s Talk About It”, and this event is all about starting conversations, raising awareness, and supporting mental health in our rural communities.

Written, funded, and produced by Victorian farmer Leila McDougall, Just A Farmer is more than a movie — it’s a movement. With a stellar Australian cast, the film shines a light on the mental health challenges faced by rural communities and the strength it takes to keep going. It’s raw, real, and inspiring — a reminder that you are not alone.
