The Sky Tonight (Planetarium Show)

Embark on a captivating tour of the night sky as seen from our area, featuring visible planets, bright stars, seasonal constellations, periodic comets, upcoming rocket launches, and more!

This June, Mars makes a close pass by the bright star Regulus in the constellation Leo. Learn how to spot this striking pair in this month’s show.

In July, look due south at sunset to spot Antares, the vivid orange-red heart of the Scorpion. This part of the sky is bursting with bright stars, dark nebulae, and dazzling starfields. Using Antares as our anchor, we’ll tour this celestial neighborhood in this month’s show.
