WISE Introduction to Dyslexia Online

This workshop will cover

Definition of dyslexia and the areas of difficulty.
Areas of difficulty including visual difficulties, organisation and concentration difficulties.
How these areas of difficulty can impact reading, writing, spelling and numeracy.
Top tips and suggestions for resources and strategies to support reading, reading comprehension, writing and spelling at home.
Keeping self-esteem high.

These sessions are open to all parent carers in Somerset who have a child with additional needs and/or a disability.
