The Moth Ball

Ecology North invites you to The Moth Ball - a fun and casual event celebrating moths and the many other fascinating creatures that come alive after dark in the North.

Join us on Wednesday, August 13 from 7 PM to 9 PM at the Fred Henne Territorial Park Day Use Area for an evening of moth sheeting, educational talks, networking with professionals, night creature bingo with prizes, microscope demonstrations, relaxation and mindfulness, refreshments, and more.

This free, all-ages event is a fantastic way to explore the northern night in a relaxed and peaceful setting.

Be sure to dress warmly and comfortably for the evening weather - and don’t forget the bug spray! Parking at the event site inside of the park is limited, but additional parking will be available at the main beach parking lot across the highway from the airport. The Moth Ball will go ahead rain or shine!
