Join us for a relaxed, hands-on day workshop where you’ll break free from rigid portraiture and explore bold colour and expressive techniques. This is a chance to loosen up, let go of perfection, and find new ways to capture mood and personality through paint.
What we’ll cover:
Warm-up exercises to loosen your hand and eye
Expressive mark-making with acrylics
Bold and intuitive use of colour
Using pose, expression, and palette to evoke emotion
This workshop is perfect for anyone who wants to experiment and bring freedom, energy, and individuality into their portraits. No need for previous experience—just a willingness to play and explore.
What to bring:
A blank canvas (A3 or larger)
Acrylic paints (include bright colours if you can!)
Brushes, water jar, palette, paper towels
Your lunch and a drink (we’ll have a short lunch break)
