Looking for a fun way to connect with our local environment and make new friends? Come along to our Landcare Nursery Seedling Party, where we'll be planting seeds, sharing stories, and having a great time together!
We need volunteers for a series of hands-on seeding workshops, perfect for gardeners, students, retirees, or anyone who loves a good chat while doing something meaningful. We're using our Climate Ready Revegetation project seeds to grow native plants, chosen specifically to thrive in our changing climate and that will be destined for the Yass Valley.
No ongoing commitment required - just drop by for an hour, stay for a morning, or pop in whenever you can. Every bit of your time helps us make a big difference! 🌱
What to Expect:
- Lots of laughter and good company
- Easy, hands-on seeding activities
- A chance to learn about native plants and how to grow them
- a cuppa to keep the energy up
Bring:
- Comfortable clothes and sturdy shoes
- A hat, sunscreen, and a water bottle
- Your enthusiasm and willingness to have fun!
