We are looking forward to the Future Jarmbie Transition Program to help our new students get ready for school. This program is designed to help children and their parents become familiar with the school environment and routines.
The program will have 10 sessions on Thursdays, starting with two-hour meetings from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. As the program goes on, we will increase the time to include three full days, giving children a taste of what a typical school day is like. This will help them feel more comfortable and confident as they start school.
The Future Jarmbie Transition Program offers many benefits. It will help children and parents learn about the daily routines and what to expect at school, which can make starting school less stressful. Children will also have the chance to meet their teachers and future classmates, helping them build friendships and connections. Our teachers will get to know the children better, understanding their needs and strengths, which will make their learning experience even better once school begins.
An information session for parents will be held on Wednesday 13 August at 5:30 pm. Children are welcome to attend.
