Meditation and Dharma Talk with Dr. David Slaymaker

Please join us in warmly welcoming Dr. David Slaymaker, who will be with us for the first time to guide us in meditation and offer a dharma talk.

David's journey in practice began in 1992 with Soto Zen, and continued in 1995 with Chan under Master Sheng Yen. He is an experienced teacher, leading Beginner's Meditation and Dharma classes, as well as One-Day Chan Retreats, and sharing insights through Dharma talks. David lives in New Jersey, where he is a biology professor. We're also happy to note that he is married to Dr. Rebecca Li, a familiar and cherished presence in our sangha for many years.
