The Club INFO SESSION

Hi, Christina here from SQUID INC. Thanks to everyone I've spoken to in the past couple of weeks about SQUID's forthcoming production of David Williamson's play, The Club.
I've been pleasantly surprised how many times I've heard " This is the play about football, isn't it?" Yes it is. But times move on and this production will be about a Women's AFL team finding its way in a Club that has to face the increasing influence of women both on and off the ground. Of the six characters there are 2 female, 2 male and 2 gender fluid. So the politics of tradition vs change, which is the backbone of this great play will really sizzle when The Club hits the stage next February.
We have an info session on Sunday August 10 and auditions will be the following week. So get in touch on 0447 792 356 for the details. And don't worry if you're not experienced or not sure, everyone is welcome to try out. You never know until you try!
