We warmly invite you to our upcoming screening of I Am The River, The River Is Me - a deeply moving and visually stunning documentary that follows the story of the Whanganui River in Aotearoa New Zealand, the first river in the world to be granted legal personhood.
The film weaves together Indigenous Māori perspectives, knowledge & wisdom, and personal stories of guardianship. It invites us to rethink our relationship with the rest of nature - not as something to manage, but as something to honour, protect, and be in relationship with. It’s a powerful call to connection, responsibility, and hope, leaving you with a renewed sense of what it means to care for the places that care for us.
Alongside the screening, we’ll be sharing FORM’s vision for the years ahead, and we would love to hear your thoughts, hopes, and ideas. It’s an opportunity to dream together, shape our future direction, and spark new possibilities as a community.
📅 10th December🕒 7-10pm🎟️ Tickets: Donation-based
We can’t wait to gather with you - it’s going to be a truly inspiring evening.
