Though ostensibly about the collectivisation of land, Earth is a beautiful meditation on the relation between humans and the land on which we live. Made by Ukrainian director Alexander Dovzhenko, Earth was the film Tarkovsky watched before beginning a new work. With its lyrical edits and elemental vision, it is one of the greatest films ever made. The film will be screened with live music from Terry Davies.

Tickets are £7.50, £6 for concessions and £3 for under 25s.
