It's that time again!, Crazy Chris is holding another pinball tournament to benefit The Canine Collective; it's The Dog Days of Summer Pinball Tournament! $10.00 entry. $1 of your entry fee will go to the IFPA and the rest goes to help find dogs their forever homes!
The Canine Collective is a private, all breed, no-K*ll, dog rescue. They are a 501(c)3 nonprofit charity, and they depend on the donations and kindness of supporters. Their mission is to provide rescued dogs another chance to find their forever homes. They rescue from high K*ll shelters, hoarding situations, and from families in crisis. Donations can be given directly to The Canine Collective at
https://caninecollective.org/donate/ at any time. I and a few of my friends will be accepting $$$ and pet supply donations at the event as well.
Format will be 6 qualifier rounds of group matchplay. Top 16 players (depending on number in attendance) make finals. Point structure will be 7 points for 1st place, 5 points for 2nd place, 3 points for 3rd place and 1 point for 4th place. 3 person groups will go with 7 points for 1st place, 4 points for 2nd place, and 1 points for 3rd place. Finals will be single elimination 1v1 bracket format. (best out of 3 games chosen at random)
Something we are trying for this year's Dog Days of Summer Pinball Tournament is holding an optional cash prize pool for the top 3 performers. There is no obligation to add to the prize pool if you don't want to; but if you wish to add $$$ to the prize pool, you may only add a dollar amount equal or less than the amount you donated to The Canine Collective. So, if you pay the $10 entry fee to enter the tournament and made no additional donations, the most you can add to the cash prize pool is $10. Payouts are as follows:
1st Place: 60% of prize pool
2nd Place: 30% of prize pool
3rd Place: 10% of prize pool
I am currently trying to rack my brain on any side hustles we can incorporate during the playoffs, more details to come!
