For the first time EVER, a true icon of UK rave culture lands in the city.
Billy Daniel Bunter is stepping behind the decks at Atique (above Velvet Nightclub) for a night that will be talked about for years to come.
Few artists can genuinely say they’ve been at the forefront of the UK rave movement since day one and remained influential for over three decades. Starting his DJ journey in 1990 with a weekly residency at the legendary Club Labrynth, Bunter rapidly became a defining force in the Hardcore and rave explosion that shaped a generation.
Throughout the 90s, his name became synonymous with the biggest, most iconic events the scene has ever known:
World Dance, Dreamscape, Helter Skelter, Raindance, Slammin’ Vinyl, United Dance, Rezerection, Hardcore Heaven and countless more.
As rave culture evolved, so did Bunter. In the late 90s and early 2000s he helped define the Hard Dance movement, setting dancefloors alight across the UK and internationally at events such as Frantic, Sundissential, Slinky, Heat, Sunny Side Up, Pendragon and Tasty.
Fast forward to today and his energy hasn’t dipped for a second. A festival favourite, Billy Daniel Bunter continues to smash stages at Glastonbury, Boomtown, Bestival, Beatherder, Moondance, Clockwork Orange, Centreforce, 90s Fest and beyond.
Beyond the decks, his influence runs deep. A gold disc selling Ministry of Sound artist with over one million mix CDs sold, an award-winning radio presenter, and a globally respected producer and remixer (including work with The Prodigy), Bunter’s legacy is undeniable. He’s also a label owner, publisher, author, and founder of the Safe Space Movement, supporting mental health across the music community.
At his core, Billy Daniel Bunter stands for energy, passion and pure connection on the dancefloor and that’s exactly what he’s bringing to Worcester.
