Midsummer Mala Fundraiser

Please come along to support a team of yoga enthusiasts in raising much needed funds for Choices4Growth, a local organisation whose mission is to provide support and counselling for anyone who needs it.

Choices4Growth has stepped into the arena to try to bridge the chasm between unaffordable private and inaccessible public services. Their ethos is "Counselling should be a right not a privilege".

Despite one in four suffering mental illness and the North East having one of the highest rates of suicide in the country, organisations like Choices4Growth are having to fight over ever-dwindling sources of funding.

This is why we're undertaking a mala, 108 Sun Salutations. If you consider that ONE Salutation has ten moves, you can imagine the challenge! Each participant will have undergone five weeks of steady training.

We would love it if you could come and cheer us along! There will be the usual refreshments and delicious cakes to buy to further support Choices 4 Growth and the invaluable work they do.
