Printmaking for Dummies

Have you ever seen a cool graphic t-shirt and thought to yourself, "wow, I wish I could make something like that"?
Then this is the class for you! In Printmaking for Dummies, learn how to design, carve, and stamp your very own T-shirt. This 101 class teaches the basics of block printing as well as provides tips and tricks to spruce up your style in a unique way.
This class is best suited for older teens (15+) and adults at any skill level.
All materials are provided, however, students are strongly encouraged to bring clothing from home to elevate their experience!
**If you have taken this class before, more intricate techniques will be available.
Space is limited! Reservations are required. The only way to secure a reservation is to pay for the class. Payments can be made in store or by Venmo @Jennifer-Carll-Simon. Payments are not refundable or transferable if the class remains as scheduled.
About the Artist:
Leann Carlson is an illustrator and printmaker from the greater Philadelphia area. An artist by heart and traveler by nature, Leann has exhibited both regionally and internationally, including the Rowan University Art Gallery, Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, and Studio Arts College International in Florence, Italy. As an artist they seek to translate their emotions into visual imagery as a way to encourage others to practice self-acceptance, trauma healing, and reconnection with their childhood self. Since graduating from Rowan University in 2020, Leann runs their own small apparel business as well as offering freelance services such as wholesale textile printing, illustration, and graphic design.
