The Woodstock Center for Awakening welcomes you to join us for our annual Woodstock Festival of Awakening, Friday August 8th through Sunday, August 10th, 2025. Come enjoy this weekend of music, seeds of realization and the healing arts from the bottom to the top of the town of Woodstock, NY, with a big Saturday gathering at the Bearsville Park. This year we will carry intact the spirit and established pattern and rhythm of the 2023 and 2024 Festivals. Check it out!
On Friday, August 8th at 6pm, the three-day-and-two-night Festival will commence at the Woodstock Community Center with the Awakening Opening, including the Medicine Wheel, the empowerment of our Awakening altar, and a sound-bath meditation. At 7pm, we will host a town-wide BreakBread, dedicated to reweaving our common humanity over active and inspired conversation while sharing in the intimate act of breaking bread. Our Friday offerings conclude with an ecstatic dance at the Community Center as well as programs going off at venues across Woodstock.
Like with our Festivals past, our Saturday gathering at Bearsville Park (August 9, with doors opening at noon), features a marathon of Kirtan performances, Awakening Talks, Movement by the Stream, Children's Yoga, the Healing Garden, Wokeshops and so much more. This year our headline kirtan performance comes from Amma-ji's swami Br. Rāmānandāmṛta Chaitanya, who through music imparts Amma's message of selfless service and love.
