LWVYC is hosting an important public voter education event on October 15th, addressing the November 4th Special Election.
This presentation will also be live-streamed and recorded for future viewing by Woodland TV. To connect to the livestream or to view the recording after the event, go to: https://youtube.com/live/N8v_QNGZ8F8
The presentation, "Understanding the Proposition 50 Special Election: Nonpartisan Voter Information for Yolo County," will offer the public information from the California League's non-partisan Easy Voter Guide for the November 2025 election.
The presentation will include ballot return features unique to this election, as well as a concise summary of the Proposition 50 ballot measure and the proposed redistricting impacts on Yolo County and California. We will review proposed congressional representation changes for Yolo County residents and the State.
Despite the California League's decision to not take a position on Proposition 50, local Leagues are encouraged to continue our tradition of active, non-partisan local voter education. The Yolo County League of Women Voters will focus our presentation on local impacts to address the information needs of voters in our community.
Doors open at 6:45 pm.
Please note: No campaign literature or paraphernalia, such as signs, T-shirts, hats, buttons, etc., will be allowed inside the meeting room.
