HELD IN PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY ON JUNE 28 (11AM - 3PM), THIS MENTAL WELLNESS SYMPOSIUM & COMMUNITY RALLY will support federal workers recently laid off due to workforce reductions. The event aims to address the emotional toll, trauma, and uncertainty many workers are facing as a result of sudden job loss. Attendees will have access to mental health counseling, wellness workshops, and trauma-informed care. Legal experts will offer guidance on navigating layoffs and protecting employment rights. Career support services, including resume reviews and job search tools, will also be available. The event is free and open to the public, and it seeks to provide both practical resources and a sense of solidarity during a challenging time. There will be music, food, and much more!
