Hosted by the Connecticut Land Conservation Council (CLCC)
Topic: Connecticut Land Conservation Trusts & Affordable Housing: Current Status and Recommendations
Facilitated by David Hindin and featuring Connie Manes of the Housatonic Valley Association, this roundtable will explore how land trusts and housing groups across Connecticut are working together to create healthy, equitable, and sustainable communities.
Discussion topics will include:
· Examples of successful housing-conservation partnerships
· Three “Pathways” for land trusts to engage in housing solutions
· Survey findings showing that 14% of CT land trusts are already active in this space
· How collaboration can unlock funding and strengthen communities
