Join us for a special behind-the-scenes look at our conservation journey at Wightwick Manor and Gardens during the three-year conservation project.
Enjoy talks from Tim, our Project Architect, and Helen, our Collections Manager. Watch live demonstrations by the Messenger Specialist Conservation Building team showcasing traditional skills like wood carving and lime plastering.
11am - 12:30pm - Meet Helen, our Collections and House Manager in the Drawing Room to learn more about the fascinating discoveries as part of our wider conservation project - 'A Stitch In Time'
11am - 2pm - Meet the Messenger Building Team and see them demonstrating wood carving and lime plastering skills used during this important project.
12:30pm - 1pm - Meet the Project Architect Tim, for a fascinating walking tour as he discussed the 'Big MEND' project in detail.
1:30pm - Book onto our Outdoor Tour with our volunteer project ambassadors, which will give an insight into the history of the building and share insights and stories - tickets on a first-come, first-served basis on the day.
11am - 3pm - Families can try our free MEND wood carving spotter trail and see some original sections of the woodwork up close.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the important conservation work taking place and the fascinating stories we're uncovering along the way.
