30/7/25 Summer Fused Glass Taster Sessions
10:30am-11:30am & 12:15pm-1:15pm
Taking place at Wightwick Manor in their craft/conference room. Ask for directions as you arrive.
Throughout the day Wolverhampton glass artist Suzie from Suzie Lavender Contemporary Glass will be teaching one hour taster sessions of fused glass making techniques.
These workshops are suitable for beginners and are for adults and also for responsible children (school age) who are accompanied by a paying supervising adult. Please note that younger children and non paying spectators are not able to join the session due to space constraints.
The sessions are one hour each and all participants will have the choice to make a coaster (10x10cm) or a suncatcher (12x3cm) and also will make a small pendant, all in colours of your choice. In this workshop you will learn a little about some basic glass fusing, cutting and layering techniques with coloured glass. Participants will be able to use a selection of materials.
All creations will be kiln fired by Suzie following the sessions and then collection from Wightwick Manor (or postage of the work can be organised) from 14days later.
Places are limited and expected to book up very quickly. Suitable for adults and responsible children. Under 16's must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Session prices are as follows:
10:30am-11:30am and 12:15pm-1:15pm £25pp per session or a pair of tickets (for the same session) for £40.
This workshop is being held during school holidays which can be a very busy time at Wightwick. Please arrive on site in plenty of time for your booked session and please note that the car park often fills up during busy periods and parking elsewhere is advised. Please allow enough time for this possibility.

Please note that access can be limited/difficult for persons of disability due to the room’s location on the first floor. There is no lift and the room is not wheelchair or pushchair accessible. Other venues where Suzie also holds workshops do have disabled access however, please contact Suzie for more information.
