Sushi-making for beginners

This is a fun, hands-on sushi-making experience suitable for beginners and sushi-enthusiasts. We will make five types of sushi with instruction including the following:

- panko fried king prawn TEMAKI

- MAKI roll with spicy tuna, green onions and cucumber

- INSIDE OUT ROLL with salmon & avocado

- NIGIRI sushi using a selection of fish & veggies

- INARI SUSHI fried tofu pouch filled with sushi rice & sesame

Vegetarian options and non-raw fish options are available so please let us know if you would prefer something different to the above menu. Everyone will the necessary equipment to make their own sushi, we usually encourage you to eat as you make the food as it will be at its freshest. We provide takeaway boxes if you can't manage all the food during the evening. Our sushi-making class is held in a private room within the pub and will last around 90 minutes. We ask that you do not bring any food or drink onto the pub premises, the bar will be open for refreshments throughout the evening. We can accommodate all allergies apart from sesame, and we are very happy to provide a vegetarian or non-raw fish option if required. Sushi-making kits etc. are for sale after the class.
