Scribbly Gum Hand Embroidery Workshop

In this Scribbly Gum inspired class, learn how to layer a variety of threads, to create a beautifully textured landscape.
One for the thread lovers, in this class you’ll be able to explore some more unusual threads, including hand dyed wool, overdyed cotton, silk and metallics. Using long and short stitch, seed stitch, French knots and beads, you’ll be able to create your own unique artworks, with depth and colour.

This class includes a Scribbly gum pattern to trace, with some scope to explore different threads to create your own unique colour way.

Knowledge required
Suitable for both beginners and more experience students.

What to bring
Glasses if required for close work, small scissors (spares will be available to borrow if needed)
