Explore Honeydale Farm on an inspiring and informative guided farm walk, led by Founder, Ian Wilkinson or a member of the FarmED team.
Join us for a day out like no other. Discover our regenerative demonstration farm and learn about sustainable farming and food systems, whilst taking in the beautiful views of the Cotswolds.
Enjoy the fresh air and beautiful landscape of the Cotswolds as you explore our 107 acre regenerative demonstration farm. We will start the walk with an introduction about FarmED, why we created a centre for farming and food education and what we do for sustainable farming and food systems, climate change and regenerating landscapes.
During your farm walk you’ll visit the different areas of the farm including meadows, arable crops, heritage orchard, kitchen garden and natural flood management whilst learning about a variety of regenerative and agroecological farming practices and enjoy some nature spotting among the abundance of farmland plants, birds, animals and insects we’re home to. There’ll be plenty of opportunities to ask questions to our knowledgeable team.
At the end of the walk, there’ll be a delicious and nutritious one course lunch from the FarmED Cafe, with produce from the farm and other incredible local suppliers.
Please ensure you bring suitable clothing and footwear for a walk around the farm, it may be rainy and muddy under foot. In extreme circumstances and the weather is too bad for the walk to go ahead, we will offer the option to re-arrange for another date or issue a full refund.
