Journey "under the sea" with Ariel and her aquatic friends in Disney's The Little Mermaid JR., adapted from Disney's Broadway production and the motion picture (featuring the enormously popular Academy Award-winning music and delightfully charming book and lyrics). Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories, Disney's The Little Mermaid JR. is an enchanting look at the sacrifices we all make for love and acceptance.

SHINE camp is a 2 week theatre camp for young people with special needs. This year the camp will culminate in a full production of Disney's The Little Mermaid Jr. Campers will audition on the first day of camp and then will rehearse each day, learning songs, lines, and choreography.

Campers enjoy games and making new friends while also experiencing the joys of live theatre (developing bonds, confidence, and skills they may not get a chance to try out in their day to day lives). All levels and varieties of special needs are welcome. Camp director Jaye Pierce is a mother of a teen with significant special needs and has been bringing theatre to the special needs community for 10 years.

Seating begins 30 minutes prior to showtime.
ADMISSION: suggested donation of $10 (Proceeds to go to Shine Theatre Camp)
