Bandages & Brews - FREE Wilderness First Aid Clinic

Heading into the great outdoors this summer? Be ready for what Mother Nature can throw at you with a quick, fun, hands-on approach to Wilderness First Aid!

On Wednesday, May 28, join Great Outdoor Provision Co. and the Wake Forest University Wilderness Medicine Fellowship program, at the 5th Annual Bandages and Brews: Stayin’ Alive in the Outdoors event, hosted by Fiddlin’ Fish Brewing Company, 772 Trade St. NW, Winston-Salem NC from 5:45 to 7:45 p.m. This is a FREE community event!

Attendees will receive first-hand practical advice handling Orthopedic Injuries, initial steps to deal with Drowning & Rescue Breathing, First-aid for things that bite: bees, snakes, insects and bear encounters, and treatment and technique to stop severe bleeding and wound care. You’ll learn the skills you need to be prepared for safe and responsible outdoor recreation!
