TwinMotion Workshop for Film Visualization and Set Design

StudioLab xR is New Media Manitoba’s latest workforce development initiative. It is dedicated to empowering Manitobans with access to cutting-edge technology and expertise. This 6,000sq ft facility space is designed from the ground up to developing next-generation skills in the rapidly evolving world of Extended Reality (XR).

This hands-on workshop offers an intensive introduction to creating high-quality cinematic visualizations using Twinmotion, with a strong focus on streamlined set design integration.

Leveraging Twinmotion’s real-time rendering engine, participants will learn how to quickly transform set designs, storyboards, and scripts into immersive, dynamic pre-visualizations. Compared to the more complex workflows of Unreal Engine, this training provides a simplified and efficient process, ideal for rapid prototyping and visualization needs.

With that in mind, we are happy to offer VPN access to a 4090 workstation with registration for this course. Just login on your local machine and have all the benefits of a production-ready computer.

With over 19 years of experience spanning architecture, visualization, CGI/VFX, and the past 4 years in the video game industry, Mahmoud has cultivated a diverse skill set, blending artistry with strategy and education. His career journey has been defined by a steadfast commitment to innovation and excellence within the creative industry.

In 2017, he founded MK Design and Visualization Studio, specializing in high-end visual marketing content for real estate developers and architects. Through this venture, he successfully established a thriving business, collaborating with prestigious clients such as Epic Games, Netflix, Siemens, Deutsche Welle, Edge Technology, Emaar, CA-Immo, and Deutsche Telekom. This endeavor enabled him to build a portfolio of high-profile projects and solidify his reputation in the industry. Driven by his entrepreneurial spirit, he went on to establish NOETA Academy in 2025, with the mission of empowering creative talent across the Middle East by providing cutting-edge training and resources in digital arts and technology.

As a certified Unreal Engine instructor, educational advisor and curriculum designer, he has developed and delivered advanced Unreal Engine training programs in partnership with Epic Games and renowned institutions, empowering numerous aspiring creative professionals.

Additionally, he has contributed to the growth of emerging talent by teaching at esteemed institutions like Wave Academy, Indisoft, and DW-Akademie, further amplifying his impact on creative education.
