May Gong Bath with Cacao

At some point, everyone is taught that to be healthy, we need to take care of ourselves, our physical hygiene - brush teeth, shower, exercise, eat well, drink water - you get the picture...In a similar vein, there are "energetic hygiene" practices that we need to do, to take care of our energetic health.

Chakra Sound Meditation is one such practice. Chakras are energy centres in the body, where subtle energy flows and interacts. Chakra Meditation promotes the flow of energy between these centres and throughout the entire body. Balancing your body’s energy system through chakra meditation can help maintain physical, emotional, and mental health. Spiritually, balancing your energy system can be a powerful tool for personal growth and transformation. To this end, Sound Meditation is a powerful modality that can help to cleanse, nourish, and protect the integrity of your chakras and your energetic being.

At the May 31st Chakra Gong Meditation we will cleanse and release energy that doesn't belong to us, as well as energy that has served its purpose in our lives; strengthen the chakras and energetic field to protect from negative energies and distractions; and restore and replenish the chakras and energetic field, tapping into the infinite source of our energy.

What to bring: a yoga mat, foam mattress, or even… an infinity chair (yes, really!), a blanket to keep you warm, especially if you tend to get cold when you relax... a pillow/bolster, an eye mask (we have extra for you) Basically, bring anything you need to be really cozy and comfortable!

Also - feel free to bring a special object (perhaps a crystal or other spiritual item), or water in a glass container - anything meaningful to your spiritual journey, really - that you might want to infuse with the vibrations.

As always, we will open the evening with Sacred Cacao to enhance your meditative experience. Sacred Cacao is prepared ceremonially with the highest grade cacao from Peru, and infused with specific healing intentions during preparation. You can then combine these intentions with your own, as you consume. Laurie will also have packaged cacao available for purchase.
