About the Artists
Dominique Adams is an alternative-folk singer-songwriter based in Winnipeg, MB, Treaty One Territory. Dominique’s lush and thoughtful lyrics paint pictures in tandem with her vocals – singular and inviting, humble and heartfelt. They weave through her songwriting like a thread – their surprising melodies tying together songs that dig deep, but land softly.
Jacob Brodovsky (he/him) is a singer-songwriter from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Treaty One Territory. He was named “English Songwriter of the Year” By the 2024 Canadian Folk Music Awards. Jacob is a champion for Winnipeg’s local music scene, and hosts “Let’s Play DJ” a weekly interview show for local musicians to talk about music they like on CKUW.
Jacob and Dominique have been collaborating for the better part of the last year, writing songs together and playing on each other’s respective solo work. Their debut collaborative record will be released in 2025.
