Book and Bake Sale

Come one come all to the annual Book and Bake Sale! New location, same excellent selection, delicious treats, and good vibes for a good cause.

Looking for your next great read? We got you covered. Novels, memoir, kids' books, YA, sci-fi and fantasy, poetry, history, and more. Plus baked goods of all kinds. And, we'll be joined by Women Helping Women Beadwork, who will be selling earrings and other beautiful works by incarcerated Indigenous women.

This year we're at First Mennonite Church, 922 Notre Dame Ave!

All books and treats are pay-what-you-want. All proceeds go to supporting MLA Prison Libraries Committee and Bar None Prison Visiting Rideshare. Cash only, BYOBag.

We reserve the right to limit quantities. Booksellers seeking books for resale are welcome starting at 2:00 pm to purchase books by-the-box. See book sale volunteers for pricing.

First Mennonite Church is wheelchair accessible via a ramp. Please contact us with other accessibility needs. Parking is available in the lot at the corner of Notre Dame Ave. and Alverstone Street.

We ask attendees to wear masks to protect vulnerable community members. Masks will be available at the door.
