Beginning Silversmith Intensive

This class is in person for 3 consecutive days, 12-6.

Class cost: $399.00, materials separate. Copper and Brass will be included. Sterling Silver available at an additional cost.

This beginning level jewellery class will provide a solid foundation of metal, tools, techniques, and safety. Each person will explore , experiment and develop basic jewellery making skills We will make approximately 2-3 pieces of jewellery over the 3 days with the final project being a spinner ring. Students are encouraged to design their own projects.

The following techniques will be covered: *sawing *polishing *soldering *sanding/filing *piercing *texturing *patinas *ring sizing and making *forming *stamping

You will receive a manual with all the techniques and step by step instructions to go along with the class.

10 hours of studio time are provided with this class. Studio time must be used within 90 days of the last class.
