Ashes on the Way

Nine years ago, we began offering Ashes on the Way so that anyone – be they church members, friends, or the public at large – could receive ashes and a blessing in a simple, accessible way. It quickly became a deeply appreciated tradition.

​​Here’s how it works: Drive into the church parking lot anytime between 7AM and 9AM, enter the roundabout, stop curbside, and one of our pastors will meet you at your car to mark your forehead with ashes and to offer a personalized prayer.

If you do not wish to receive ashes, you may simply ask for a prayer. Ashes on the Way is a poignant and powerful start to Lent.
