"The Loose Ends band started in 1964 as a high school band which played at parties, sock hops, and some school functions. This was at the time that rock n roll music was exploding, and the British invasion entered the music scene. The band was revived in 2009 by two founding members for their high school 40th reunion with songs from the original repertoire. Since that time, the band expanded from a Beatles cover band to classic rock n roll.
Then, with the addition of several professional musicians, the group is now performing in different kinds of venues including classic country, blues, jazz, and a little bossa nova. They have been seen playing in Winfield at the Cowley County Fair, Ladybird Brewing, Art in the Park, and private parties and at Ridin' High and Pioneer Cove in Oklahoma. They perform in Wichita and Kansas City at Yaya's, Kansas Star Casino, and private functions.
The current band members are Doug Lewis, Kent Winblad, Becky Winblad, Rod Knepper, Randy Wilson, Nick Hofmeister (all from Winfield). And Colclasure (Newkirk, OK) and Ashley Knepper (Wichita). "
