Windsor Night Flight

On Friday, July 25, we will host Night Flight, an international-level pole vault competition held right in the heart of the waterfront at the Great Canadian Flag plaza. This will be a world-class sporting
event featuring elite athletes from across Canada and around the globe, with several competitors capable of vaulting over 18 feet in the air. We will also showcase other competitions with young developing athletes throughout Friday and Saturday as well.

This event builds on the success of our downtown events previously held on Oullette avenue. With the support of the City of Windsor and the local community, we expect Night Flight to be an annual marquee summer experience—combining high-performance sport, entertainment, and a family-friendly
atmosphere.

We’ll be setting up throughout the day on Friday, with elite women’s competition beginning at 4:00p.m. and elite men’s at 7:00 p.m. The venue will come alive with music, announcers, and the electric energy of fans lining the waterfront to watch some of the world’s best take flight.
