What could you do in a crisis?

When an emergency hits like a storm, flood, or power outage, every community needs people who are trained and ready to respond.
Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex is building a volunteer response team that may be called into action across the region, or even across the province, in coordination with Ontario Corps. A team ready to dig in, or dig out, under the direction of skilled leaders.
If you're someone who asks, “What can I do to help?” This is it.
What type of work will we do? We may:
- Help fill sandbags during a flood
- Clear debris after storms
- Support families returning home after water damage
- Work that will support families in our community when emergencies occur.
No regular commitment. Just be prepared.
We’ll provide First Aid & CPR certification, hands-on safety training, and opportunities to practice and work alongside the team before we are called into action, so you’re ready when the call comes. A great way to be a part of something big!
