Understanding Fish Movements in the Great Lakes
Join us for a unique experience! July 9th, the fish are grabbing their acoustics and will serenade us with their beautiful anthems.

oh wait... I'm being told, that's not what acoustic means here!

The use of acoustic telemetry tags has revolutionized our understanding of fish movements in the Great Lakes. This talk will introduce the Great Lakes Acoustic Telemetry Observing System (GLATOS), supported by the Real Time Aquatic Ecosystem Observing Network (RAEON), and provide some details from studies of fish movements and behaviour.
