Run with Her - 5k walk/run

As an organization committed to supporting children in the community, the Reaching for the Stars Optimist Club has proudly partnered with the Welcome Center for Women. The center provides critical resources and support to women and their children, offering a safe haven and comprehensive programs designed to empower and uplift.

Proceeds from the Run for Her 5k will directly benefit the Welcome Center for Women's initiatives, including their exceptional kids’ program. This program provides enriching after-school activities and expanded support during summer and winter breaks, ensuring children experience a sense of normalcy and opportunity despite challenging circumstances. The Welcome Center also provides meals and lunches, ensuring children have the nutrition needed to succeed in school.
