Hillman Marsh Walk in honour of Jim McCallister
Join us to celebrate the legacy of Jim McAllister at Hillman Marsh, July 13th at 1pm.
Enjoy an afternoon in Hillman Marsh Conservation Area as we take the opportunity to explore the beautiful landscapes and visit the tree recently planted for Jim.
Jim was one of the clubs founding members and past president. He played a pivotal role in bringing a 9 member club to a full grown organization of 200 members.
His birding journey began after seeing an orange variant of the Scarlet Tanager, which lead to birding trips across the country. But he never forgot about us at home as his passion for nature inspired the growth of community around conservation and protection.
