Backpack Drive & Block Party!

Join us for the Building Bright Futures Block Party! A free, family-friendly event dedicated to supporting students and celebrating community! It’s a day of connection, celebration, and preparing students for a successful school year.

Guests can enjoy an afternoon of giving and fun with free backpacks, haircuts and hairstyles, tasty food, music, games, and entertainment. There will be plenty of activities for kids, plus a vendor marketplace where you can shop local businesses and explore community resources. Please note: only children who are present at the event will be eligible to receive a backpack.

• Admission: Free & Open to all!

Local entrepreneurs, you're invited to participate as vendors , a great way to gain exposure and connect with the community and sell your products! Fees: vendor:$40, food truck: $100. For full info and application click !

Donate school supplies! We're receiving new backpacks, school supplies, and hygiene items to ensure that students return to school equipped and empowered.
