Housing Justice & Families

Join the Eastern Connecticut Center for Housing Opportunity(CHEO) as we continue our Housing Justice Series in Willimantic with Kathleen Krider, Senior Director of Community Engagement and Resource Management from Access Community Action Agency. The series is designed to engage students and community members to explore the intersection of housing justice and related subjects like education, healthcare, economic development, and democracy.

The event takes place on the second floor of the J. Eugene Smith Library, Room 204: Paul E. Johnson, Sr. Community Conference Room.

In 2024, the series began as a partnership between CHEO and the Holleran Center for Community Action and Public Policy at Connecticut College. In 2025, CHEO is partnering with Eastern Connecticut State University to bring the events to Willimantic. Subject matter experts and practitioners participate in a moderated discussion and a Q&A session with audience members.

Lunch will be provided.
