STAND BY ME (1986) on 35mm

Come along with the Gap Theatre on Friday, June 28 at 8 PM for a 35mm screening of Stand by Me (1986), Rob Reiner’s timeless coming-of-age classic. Based on Stephen King’s novella The Body, the film follows four friends on a life-changing journey to find a missing boy — and themselves. Set against the backdrop of small-town Oregon in the 1950s, Stand by Me is a poignant, funny, and heartfelt story about friendship, adventure, and the bittersweetness of growing up. Experience this beloved favorite the way it was meant to be seen — on glorious 35mm film!
