KUNG FU THEATRE: JIMMY WANG YU—UNLEASHED Triple Feature on 35mm

The Gap Theater presents Kung Fu Theatre: Jimmy Wang Yu – Unleashed, a whirlwind triple feature of super wuxia action on Sunday, August 24 at 2pm! Soar into the mythic world of martial arts legends with Zatoichi Meets the One-Armed Swordsman (1971)—the insanely rare, rumored-to-not-exist, “lost” Chinese version of this epic swordplay classic. Then experience one of Wang Yu’s greatest films, The Sword (1971). For the final duel of the day, it’s Jimmy as the Master of the Silver Spear in Blood of the Dragon (1971), the U.S. version with a rock score by Flood!

Featuring gravity-defying swordplay, epic heroism, and Wang Yu’s iconic high-flying style, this cinematic journey is a must for fans of classic kung fu fantasy. All films screened on 35mm in Chinese with English subtitles—except Blood of the Dragon, which is dubbed in English.
