Bring a picnic blanket for a potluck/snack style lunch to share (if you like). This is not required.
Soup will be served, of course to mark our first Stone Soup Gathering along with some other healthy options.
I will discuss what our Stone Soup Gatherings are, the story behind the gathering, and what they are not. I am so excited to invite you to the farm for a day of relaxation, support and building a community!
What matters most is the intention—to hold
space, to welcome, and to trust that everyone
brings a vital ingredient to the soup.
Stone Soup is not the village itself—it is the invitation to build one. It is a space where seeds of friendship, service, and solidarity are planted. Its spirit is casual, conversational, and free-form. When we create the space, the magic happens.
This is for all ages of women! Bring your sisters, mothers, aunts, grandmother's, daughters! Let's support and gather! Children are welcome always!
Follow to the parking signs. Drive slow coming down the lane, please. This is a safe space with posted speed limit signs. Feel free to join when you can during the gathering. We will focus on nurturing each other with authentic connections to ground ourselves in a rooted community.
FYI--In the future:
Each gathering can include:
• Gardening, seed swaps, cooking demos.
• Making herbal teas, shared art, or interactive projects.
• Clothing and book exchanges.
• Outdoor free play and connection with nature.
Thanks to @wildsagemama (Sarah) for allowing others to share this in our own communities.
