About the Outing Leader: Joey often explores the Fells on his own or with groups.

About the Outing: The hiking route will be primarily on the Reservoir Trail around the Middle and South Reservoir areas. We will not cover the whole Reservoir Trail in this hike. Instead, we will take shortcut through sections of fire roads at the end. The total distance should be less than 5 miles with some small hills. We will be hiking in a brisk speed of 2-2.5 miles per hour for some good morning exercise to start a new week. Hiking shoes/boots are recommended, but a sturdy pair of sneakers is also fine. Please bring plenty of water with you. Snacks, sunscreen, insect repellent, and sun hat are also recommended. We will have frequent water breaks along the route to ensure everyone is properly hydrated.

We will be meeting at the Gate 17 on the Hillcrest Parkway at 8:55AM to do a brief intro and start hiking at 9:00AM. You can find the meeting location at this link: You can park on the park side of the street.
