🎉 Wilton Candy Kitchen is Celebrating — and You’re Invited! 🎉
Join us as we mark a remarkable milestone — the anniversary of the Wilton Candy Kitchen, a cherished local treasure that began as a confectionery in 1860, founded by Wilton pioneer R.A. McIntyre.
To honor this long and sweet history, you’re invited to an evening of music, memories, and milestones — and a meal on us as a heartfelt thank-you for generations of support.
Event Highlights:
🍔 A Meal on Us – Served from 4:00–6:00 PM
(Includes your choice of hamburger or brat, chips, drink, dessert cupcakes — and of course, ice cream!)
🎤 Program Begins at 7:00 PM, featuring:
Unveiling of a portrait of Wilton founder Franklin Butterfield
Announcement of the Sharon School Project
Dedication of the restored Candy Kitchen jukebox
🎶Live Music by Chocolate Crackers – 7:00–9:00 PM
🎨 Face Painting for the kids
🚒 Wilton Fire Department Equipment Display – including an 1880 Wilton Fire Department push cart
