Story Hike at Woodcock Nature Center with the Ridgefield Library

Families with children of all ages are invited to a storytime and short hike at the Woodcock Nature Center! Join Ms. Kathleen from the Ridgefield Library and Kelly Donahoe from Woodcock Nature Center for this active storytime celebrating outdoor adventures.

We'll meet at the Pavilion at WNC to read a story, visit the Nature Center to meet an ambassador animal and then take a guided hike on the nearby trails. Registration is required and opens on July 5, 2025.

Please register once for your family and make note of the number of attendees in the special notes.

This activity is part of the Ridgefield Library's 2025 Summer Reading Program: Level Up at Your Library as well as Ridgefield Parks and Recreation and the Conservation Commission's Summer Trekking Program, and is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Ridgefield Library, the Ridgefield Conservation Commission and Woodcock Nature Center.
