A Tiny Treasure Awaits!
Calling all art enthusiasts! You are invited to the Wilson Arts Annual Miniature Masterpieces Fundraiser, set to take place on Thursday, May 22, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Wilson Arts Center. This cherished event offers art lovers and supporters a chance to take home a unique, original 8” x 8” artwork while directly supporting local artists and art education programs.
Tickets and Event Details
Tickets for this exclusive event are $55 and will be available on a limited basis. Due to its popularity, Wilson Arts members will have an early access opportunity to purchase tickets starting April 1, while the general public can secure their spots beginning April 22. As this event historically sells out quickly, early reservations are highly encouraged.
The ticket price includes a festive evening featuring a delightful selection of hors d’oeuvres and desserts, as well as an original miniature artwork to take home. Guests can also take advantage of an on-site framing station for an additional cost, ensuring their new masterpiece is professionally framed and ready to display. The Mystery of Miniature Masterpieces
One of the most exciting aspects of Miniature Masterpieces is the element of surprise! Upon arrival, attendees will draw a number to determine which artwork they receive. With a wide variety of styles and mediums created by local and regional artists, every piece is a unique treasure.
If the piece you select isn't quite your style, don’t worry—head over to the trading corner, where you can swap with other attendees. Whether you walk away with your first pick or make a trade, the goal is to have fun, celebrate creativity, and support the arts!
Calling All Artists!
Wilson Arts invites artists aged 16 and older to contribute to the fundraiser by donating an original 8” x 8” piece. Canvases are available for pickup at the Wilson Arts Center reception desk, and all completed works must be returned by April 1. Participating artists who donate a piece will receive an exclusive invitation to attend the second half of the event as a thank-you for their contribution. Artists are encouraged to RSVP in advance.
