POSTPONED: Nikki D & The Sisters of Thunder AND Apostle Jones

Nikki D & The Sisters of Thunder is a family based group from Toledo, Ohio. Their unique style is Gospel with Blues riffs and grooves, all punctuated by Nikki D's wildly soulful and electrifying steel guitar.

In fact, in 2016, Guitar World magazine described Nikki as "The Jimi Hendrix of Sacred Steel" because of her experimental vocal-like riffs and other-worldly sounds. She's also a soulful vocalist that commands the attention with her raspy, sultry voice.

The group is known for their powerfully moving, revival-like performances with beautifully atmospheric vocals riding
about a wave of infectious rhythms and grooves. Their excitement and energy is contagious. When they hit the stage, a forecast for hand clapping and toe tapping will be expected.

Apostle Jones is a dynamic soul band that blends styles and genres to create a uniquely collaborative, fresh sound. The release of their first EP – “Lilith” staked out their space in their hometown of Cleveland’s musical landscape. Led by the dramatic, stirring vocals and presence of singer/keyboardist Mikey Silas, the group delves into the soulful music singing about life’s experiences and good times to come.
